The Blessing Of You

A wonderful miracle embraced my life
When you came my way that special day
I received the blessing of your smile
Realizing quickly I wanted it to stay

Who would have ever chanced to think
Their heart and mind might be swept away
Without a single word spoken from your lips
Only with a look bidding breath to fade

My heart was embezzled by your brown eyes
With a sheer radiance that would hypnotize
And within them I caught a glimpse of hope
You might find a reason to stay in my life

Tomorrow will I see you come my way again
Might our paths cross some marvelous way
Will my new found hope give birth to a joy
Finding the loneliness in my world to fade

For I long for the chance to softly embrace
Many more moments like the ones found today
And to my God in heaven I prayed from my heart
To continue the blessing of you he sent my way.

One With Me

I was awakened from my daydreams,
and my heart was swept away.
Then all the rest of the afternoon,
on my mind, did your memories play.

And the tones found in your sweet soft voice,
were  like a cool  summer wind,
Whistling through the trees and hills,
finding a  secure place in my heart to begin.

For to me you are an heavenly angel,
a gift from my God In heaven above
For He knew just what was needed,
when He  gave to my heart your love.

And as I lovingly embrace the beauty in your eyes,
I find my heart will never again be free
For my world has been captured by a blossoming love,
whose breath of life will always be one with me.

"Always Glad"

As I gaze upon your lovely face,

that does seem untouched by time.

I am overwhelmed by sweet emotions,

because your love is still truly mine.


It is more than I have ever hoped for,

better than the sweetest dream I ever had.

For my heart is swept away so daily,

as my spirit is always made so glad.


For with you I truly understand,

what a pure love does represent.

For as I think of our life together,

I know its essence was heaven sent.


And richer am I than most men in this world,

for I have something they will never have.

For true love made a sweet place Inside my heart,

With a happiness that will always keep me glad.
