You Are The Only One I Need

Oh Lord my God, the beauty
of your word is the strength
of my spirit

Your golden word is the radiance
of my joyful heart

You have left me breathless,
sweeping my heart away,
whom shall I love in my life
but you...

whom I shall embrace each day.

You alone have satisfied my thirst,
and by your hands my hunger is
always stilled...

I only stand because your power lifted me.

I bow down before you because
your grace has saved me, blessing
my life in an awesome way...

whom shall I honor this day?

Only you shall be honored with
my hearts praise, I shall declare
to all whom live in this world
the majesty and heavenly grace...

of the only one who can save.

You alone can renew life
and my very breath is yours
as my life belongs to you

and it is you alone I seek to serve.

If I turn away from you Lord,
I will surely suffer immensely,
and I would pass away...

because I need your spirit to live.

You are life to me, and
the touch of your spirit daily
fills me with your awesome kiss
of love

When it comes to your greatness
I am always moved to tears as my
heart and spirit are greatly humbled

I find that I cannot exist without
your great love, for throughout
the passing moments of my day

I am made to see Jesus, that you
are the only one I need.

All My Love

I came to thirst for something
And for what reason I did not know
Yet the Lord, he satisfied my thirst
With sweet power I will never let go

I hungered for that special something
And deep within I felt  excruciating pains
But my Lord, he satisfied my hunger
Before I could even praise His name

When I fell into sins great hellish pit
Where it seemed my life would end
My Lord Christ, he did forgive me
As He gently washed away my sins

Before I knew what It was I needed
All my needs and wants He satisfied
Leaving me only wanting to give to Him
My heart’s praise for the rest of my life.

Your Word

Your word always makes my thoughts stop
While making sweet dreams to begin
I embrace their magic as it flows through me
As it touches the total whole of me within

For the pure life in your words is so gentle
So very soothing and awesomely serene
And when they enter within my spirit
Everything they touch shines so radiantly

And Your spirit always seem to do this to me
With each living word which makes images stay
For the blessing of Your word daily overwhelms me
While inside each moment my breath is taken away

And my mind cannot ever stop dreaming
As I always feel Your words sweet embrace
Because in my life Lord, I could never live
Without Your word's sweet genuine taste.

Ever Thankful

As this morning calls my eyes to open
Leaving me to feel your joyful presence
You lift my mind into very high places
As my heart was embraced by your love

It gave birth to a million radiant smiles
And just as many blushing childish grins
While the very first thing that came to mind
Was to thank you for letting me live again

And I could hear the soft gentle pattering
On my window as the rain began to fall
And even as its voice was speaking clearly
I could hear the blessing of your loves call

And as all living things began their dance
Joined together their voices rose up to pray
Happily thanking you Lord for another chance
To send out from their hearts sweet praise

I thank you Lord this morning for the reminder
Which always assures me your spirit will stay
No matter whether one is truly good or bad
You give to many of us another chance today

My heart joyfully embraces all of these thoughts
While causing a love song to rise within as I pray
And along with my spirit they give birth to a psalm
Thanking you Lord, for another very special day

To seek you again with open hearts and arms
Again feeling the spiritual hunger grow inside
As we bathe anew in your blessing of love
Realizing that last night we could have died
