You were made a little lower than the Angels
Yet all creation is below Your feet
You became one like Your earthly brothers
And with great power in our world you did speak
And God, Your God above did bless you
And has placed his power in your hands
So that only you can change a heart of stone
To one of flesh for an unholy sinful man
I will put my trust in you who suffered
And for my sins died upon a tree
I will always humbly accept your lasting grace
Because you have shed your holy blood for me
And though I am not worthy to be called
In you will always be my trust
For I know that I would be truly lost
Without your love which in my life is a must.
Trust is the thing, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love the drops of water on a lens look (and I love the view of course) of your blog!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! My poetry like yours is also inspired by the Psalms and our experiences God walks us through. Shine on! Be blessed my bother in Christ, Deborah
ReplyDeleteDeborah, your spirit shines always with every word you share...thank you my sister for being a genuine gem! God bless and have a wonderful weekend!
DeleteHello! It's a pleasure to stumble across your work and blog, Brother. :0) Beautifully written and inspired! I too am a Christian and fellow poem/songwriter, but really, more of a photographer these days. (Sometimes people mistake my work for being 'darkly tinged' etc. but really, I think about the Crucifixion. It wasn't cake and ice cream and happy bunnies and rainbows! It was Blood and agony and dark, fierce clouds with the veil being ripped in two- earthquakes and screaming...) I hope you continue writing and touching the world. :0)
ReplyDeleteI viewed your site and I think its awesome, I will also be following it! I have been mostly on my other site https:foreverpoetic.me! That is where I spend most of my time now. Thanks for the kind comments and keep on sharing also...you are lead to share by our Lord, keep it going!
