"Changing Love"

A moment of happiness,
where time stands still,
framed in minutes where
one realizes the best
that love might bring.

Where the joy felt
deep within has no
rival,  not even in
the halls of paradise.

For what is felt  deep
In the heart’s center is
only akin to the moment
of happiness it now knows…

And  this tender feeling
will never come the same
way again, for it will never
be duplicated twice, but only
better… always changing.

For tomorrow as I open my
eyes, the new day that I will
receive, will be much better
than its cousin of yesterday…

For tomorrow will
bring into my hearts view,
a new, and better you,
with which to share our
lives together as one.
